  Green Food in China dates from 1990. In that year China’s Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) created the Green Foods   program. In recent years, the green foods industry has enjoyed a period of high-speed development which contributes to economic development, progress of people’s living standard and environment protection.
  At the end of 2013, there were 7696 certified companies and 19076 types of certified product, achieving the sales volume of RMB 362.5 billion and the export value of USD 2604 million in the whole year.
